Donnelly Field and Tot Lot is the second of four parks to be designed and built as a result of the Area IV Master Plan done by CSS.

As the site has been actively used for recreational athletics for decades, the site program was not changed. By setting priorities for improvements with the help of a community process, our challenge was to incorporate as many of the desired upgrades while still keeping to the project budget.

The design work includes: clearer entrance circulation, improved pedestrian connections, upgrades to all field amenities and field lighting, improved drainage, water play, new play equipment and extensive planting.
