Over forty public parks have been designed for the City of Boston's Parks and Recreation Department under the direction of CSS Principal, Deneen Crosby. The parks, ranging in size from less than one half to four acres, serve densely populated urban neighborhoods and are carefully designed to meet the needs of diverse user groups. The parks include play structures for various age groups, basketball courts, spray pools, game tables and seating areas. The parks feature a range of distinctive, playful design elements including community inspired murals, brightly tiled mosaics, and often include the incorporation of art pieces created by neighborhood children.
