CSS completed a neighborhood master plan for the City of Cambridge which includes four park sites of varying sizes and program needs, including Donnelly Field and Tot Lot, Fletcher Maynard Schoolyard, 238 Broadway and Squirrel Brand Park. 238 Broadway, the largest of the parks, took an existing open space and with the demolition of 2 buildings and a street closure, created a larger contiguous space to develop a significant neighborhood park which includes a central green, water play and play area, gardens, a pathway system that reconnects important neighborhood streets, seating areas and public art. Park improvements at other sites included athletic field development, play areas, gardens, public art and interpretive elements.
