Columbia Point has the potential to be Boston's next great neighborhood, with its sweeping ocean views and direct access to I-93, the subway and commuter rail. It is home to some of Boston's most important institutions, including UMass Boston, the JFK Library, the Massachusetts State Archives, and Boston College High School, all which have plans for expansion. CSS's Master Plan provides for a vibrant and sustainable mixed-use, transit-oriented district with expanded open space, pedestrian and bicycle connections to the waterfront and transit, an improved vehicular circulation network and sustainability guidelines.
