How do you design a new bridge that spans from the Butchertown historic district in Lousiville to the Old Jeffersonville historic district in Southern Indiana and complements five existing historic Ohio River Bridges?
CSS Principal Skip Smallridge directed the Context Sensitive Design/Urban Design team and worked with Michael Baker Engineering to design a new state of the art bridge that reflects the scale and rhythm of the historic bridges and neighborhoods.
