The Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy’s Interactive Bloom Tracker won a Boston Society of Landscape Architects Design Professional Award for Communication! CSS Senior Associate Dan Norman collaborated with The Rose Kennedy Greenway and local firm WorkReduce to develop this bloom visualization tool that takes volunteer-gathered plant data, and makes it accessible to visitors near and far through an interactive 3d map. Congratulations to The Greenway on this Award!

From the BSLA Jury: “This ambitious project is beautifully simple, straightforward, and accessible, providing a useful tool for The Greenway that emphasizes planting and getting people to engage with the park. The tool has the ability to entice not only garden clubs, but the average curious person, to think about and appreciate the planted environment.”
